“Traveler takes” is the money that goes to the traveler for packing, carrying, and safely delivering the item. The bigger or heavier the item, the more the traveler takes.
In order to bring an item from the US, we need to pay the traveler to rent their luggage space. Once the item reaches the traveler’s address, they carefully pack the item, then carry it over safely and hand it over to us in Bangladesh.
Since the traveler has to carry the item in his/her luggage and we need to pay them a carrying charge, if your item takes more space or weight, then the amount the traveler takes increases. In other words, the larger or heavier the item in questions, the higher the amount for “traveler takes.” Our current average stands at $7/lbs and $3.4/ltr but this can change depending on the traveler, circumstance and time.
